Associated Plasmatron Private Limited, was established in 1988, with the aim of providing state of the art Thermal Spraying services to the industry. All through these years, the Company has proven its competence and today is a front runner in the Surface Engineering industry.

The need for enhanced surface characteristics continues to grow as the customer strives to improve the performance of components or products, extend component service life and reduce weight, together with the need to cut costs and increase production capacities. PLASMATRON since its inception has undertaken many prestigious reclamation jobs and successfully restored components to its pristine condition in a fraction of time and money that would have been other wise required.

With clients all over the country and abroad, from different industries, including the infrastructure sector, we have the complete confidence of the users. This is reflected in the repeat orders we have been receiving from our customers, for both new coatings and recoating / refurbishment. Located in the prime TTC Industrial Area, with the logistical network to reach all over India, PLASMATRON is geared to take on any challenge in the surface coating field. Prompt response to the customer requirement, highly skilled manpower to efficiently execute the demanding job work well within the stipulated time, modern technology and service have resulted in PLASMATRON being recognised as the place to come to for any surface modifications / refurbishment.

Today a customer list of more than 300 satisfied clients are a testimony to our efforts to be of service to the industry in all their needs of special surfacing / engineering requirements. Building on over the years, today PLASMATRON has all the major thermal spray process equipment in house and a well equipped tool room to meet the ever changing requirements of our esteemed customers. Our team comprises of people who bring their knowledge, skill and experience from different industry background and implement them towards achievement of common Organizational goal. Environment Activities

We are fully committed to mitigating the environmental impacts of our current and future activities. Monitoring and reducing adverse impacts of the organizations' operations on the environment and local community will be management's priority. We shall focus on prevention of pollution; efficient use of energy, water and materials; minimizing waste; re-use and recycle wherever possible - both in the design and management of our operations and facilities.

We shall develop objectives and targets to continually improve our environmental performance. We shall assure compliance with environmental legislation and progressively adopt best practices followed internationally.

CSR Activities


The PLASMATRON family has built its CSR program around its value system and relies on the commitment of its stakeholders. We engage with NGO’s and local institutions at different levels to provide our valuable contribution to the society and environment. Our company is committed to advancing policies and systems to ensure that all aspects of its CSR program are addressed and monitored. These include good ethical behavior, employee health and safety, care for environment and community involvement.


Donations to NGO »

We identify NGO's in the nearby vicinity and get in touch with them to understand their basic necessities. We pass on the message to our stakeholders to get maximum participation and ensure that we meet the NGO’s expectation. Our goal is to facilitate these NGO’s in their prerogative of child education, woman empowerment, value education and creating a better future. Apart from providing necessary resources we will also spread happiness through our various initiatives.

Tree Plantation »

We will associate with local authorities and concerned groups to plant trees and build a better and greener environment. We will assist with the needful resources for tree plantation or be a part of the program and provide our full support. We will minimize the use of paper for documentation by developing customized software’s. We will implement policies and systems for systematic segregation, collection, recycling and disposal of wasteful resources. We encourage our stakeholders to be a part of this “Go Green” initiative and involve them regularly.

Blood Donation Camp »

We touch the lives of many through our work but we also want to save lives through our initiative. We will associate with authorized blood banks and organize blood donation camps on a regular basis. Our stakeholders feel responsible and are highly motivated for such campaigns. We also encourage our fellow business associates and other interested parties to be a part of such campaigns to get maximum participation.

System Capabilities


We believe the only way to be the best Surface Engineering Company is by following the best industrial practices. Some of the Management System functions which form a part of our Organizational Culture include :

6S

Our Departments are grouped in to Cross Functional Teams with assigned roles and responsibilities of 6S activities. All employees are trained about the 6S methodology and teams are mandated to spend 15 minutes every day for 6S activities. This has created a great degree of awareness on Product Safety and Standardization which in return provides value to the Customer.

KAIZEN

At PLASMATRON, Continual Improvement is a way of life and this intent is reinforced by the Top Management by establishing a procedure for the same and being a part of its Executing Committee. Our stakeholders at the lowest level of hierarchy are encouraged to put up their valuable suggestions which are reviewed and implemented with support of Management Team. KAIZEN’s are categorized in to PQCDSM based on its benefits which becomes an intangible deliverable to the Customer.

ERP

A customized Business Management System incorporating interlinked modules covering right from Lead Generation to Accounting and Customer Feedback. Customer component is identified immediately after GRN and its production life cycle can be tracked through the ERP system. The ERP is equipped with high data handling capacity and access controls to ensure long term preservation and security of customer documents.

Production Scheduler

An integrated production scheduling system which provides live update of each component. Plan vs Actual activities are tracked on a daily basis and corrective actions taken accordingly. Customers are given realistic commitments based on data available through this scheduler.

OEE

Details of each process is documented in a format broadly capturing the Machine Utilization, Operator Efficiency and Product Quality. These details are compiled and evaluated each day to calculate the OEE and corrective actions are taken accordingly. This monitoring mechanism has enabled us to improvise every day and provide good quality products to our Customers on Time.

RCCA

We follow a documented Root Cause and Corrective Action procedure integrated in our ERP system, which is in accordance with Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving - Section 7.4, published on the IAQG portal. The step by step Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation process has inculcated problem solving attitude in each of our employees’.
